Well done to the lucky ones who have booked in to yet another bank holiday weekend at the pond.... Looking forward to nice people nice weather and me winning the first ever fishing match I have planned this weekend. Others try to copy what I've done here but it's impossible , there's only one me. ! And I have the standards and ideas that people like , not to mention the best stocked ponds, fantastic views and the best customers/friends anyone could wish for :-) If you missed out getting booked in and ended up somewhere else local , sorry but make the best of it and see you another time at the pond . Quick update on the wildlife, family of dear seem to be sticking around in the next field in view a lot , we have 3 goslings hatched and living at the pond, our ducks are now laying there eggs anywhere around the site so look out for a free breakfast and I saw my first cuckoo up close outside my caravan yesterday ... Have a good weekend folks x

we have had all the new fish delivered, so both ponds are now stocked and ready for some action, roll on spring and summer, I can almost smell the bbqs and taste the wine...

see you soon guys.... Hi de hi x

Hi de hi guys, just to let you know we're back online Just a quick update to say that for those who have followed the flooding and disasters over the winter with the tidal surge etc , that were now back in business , and hallelujah we have our bt line connected again with the same number so I guess within the next few weeks we will be seeing some of you booking in to return :-) 01964 650366 is our original number but still not sure about our answer phone service or broadband but I can't grumble now we have our landline back on so roll on spring / summer and see your happy faces here again :-)

I have a problem with BT due to a huge misunderstanding about a replacement line after the flooding so please don't think we're closed my mobile is a terrible signal so bear that in mind if you call or text but emails as usual and will reply ASAP , will update later once I have sorted things with BT , regards Richard

Tidal surge hit me.

Posted by richard on December 18, 2013 at 1:45 AM Comments comments (1)
A lot of you guys will already know that the tidal surge hit me and flooded the house and site 2 weeks ago almost , l have almost got the site back to normal but the house will be 6 to 8 months according to the insurance people, so you guys might have to put up with me on site more in a caravan. ;-) , there's always a plus to every negative .... So the only negative is loss of fish with the salt water but I'm already on the case to sort that out for spring . So ho ho ho and have a good Xmas and see you in the new year , I will be sending out an email blast to all our members too so look out for it in the inbox. Merry Christmas to you all x

Yes its time for some LEISURE time, feet up and rod out... Had another full site again which im thankful to all for making it a relaxed weekend and had a lot of newcomers visiting, even a Japanese family, I wont try spelling there name because I will get told off for spelling it by our resident teacher on Friday, the tallented Mrs tallent ( can be found on pitch one, she will be the one with a large wine in her hand ;-) ) Think the weather is holding out and appartently our new ducks are mating which I have been told is a sign of an extended summer? lets hope so.... Also keep an eye on ukcampsites.co.UK for a chance to win free time here, and a deal on middweek breaks ( buy 2 nights and get a 3rd free) competition details will be coming soon... Finally were full this coming weekend (again) but could sqeeze the odd tent or campervan in with no hook up? Hi de hi......
